What you need to get started
You Have a TPV?
If you already have Redsys credentials (TPV - Terminal Punto de Venta), you're ready to go. Quetzal works with your existing bank merchant account.
Your total cost = Quetzal fixed fee + Your Redsys/bank fee
Get StartedNo TPV Yet?
If you don't have your own Redsys credentials yet, we don't offer a solution at the moment. Contact our sales team - we can guide you through the process of getting your own TPV.
Most banks can set up a TPV within 1-2 weeks.
Contact SalesFrequently Asked Questions
TPV (Terminal Punto de Venta) is the Spanish term for a Point of Sale terminal or merchant account. It's provided by your bank and gives you Redsys credentials to process card payments in Spain.
Quetzal connects to YOUR bank account through Redsys. This means lower fees because there's no middleman like Stripe taking a percentage. The money goes directly to your merchant account.
Redsys fees vary by bank and your agreement, typically ranging from 0.2% to 0.5% per transaction. Since you negotiate directly with your bank, you may get better rates for higher volumes.
We support all payment methods available through Redsys, including Visa, Mastercard, Bizum, and more. Our API handles them all through a single integration.
No hidden fees. You pay the fixed Quetzal fee per transaction plus whatever your bank charges through Redsys. That's it. Simple and predictable.
Many companies use Stripe because it's easier to integrate than Redsys directly. If you already have a TPV (many companies do and don't use it), you can switch to Quetzal and save significantly - especially on higher-value transactions.
